CAIRO – 3 November 2017: Argentinean striker Carlos Tevez lost several kilos in order to reaffirm himself before the skeptical Chinese fans that criticize him and call him a "nostalgic guy", his club, Shanghai Shenhua, reported Thursday.

The ex-forward of Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United started the season at 78 kilos and is now at 72, confirmed a spokesman for Shenhua.

The ex-national of Argentina has lived 10 complicated months since his arrival to the Chinese championship from Boca Juniors, having a low status and constant injuries.
In September, the club's new manager, Wu Jingui, accused Tevez of being overweight. Tevez is one of the highest paid players in the world, earning €730,000 ($851,326) a week.

Tevez, called a “nostalgic guy” because of his love of returning to Argentina every few days, seems to have taken note and made extraordinary training to get in shape.
