CAIRO – 2 November 2017: Leicester City announced on Thursday that they have reached an agreement with their winger Demarai Gray to renew his contract with the club until 2021.

“I’m very happy. Now I just want to kick on and keep doing what I’m doing. I want to be starting games, and for me to be doing that, I have to work hard in training,” Gray said to Leicester City’s website after signing the contract.

Gray, 21, is a Birmingham City academy product. He played for the club since he was 10 and got promoted through the club rankings till he joined the first team when he was 17.

Gray’s amazing performance with his team and the England U-20 team led to Leicester City signing him in 2016.

Gray spoke about the Leicester City team, saying, “We’re a good group and we have a good dressing room. Now I want to get my head down and keep kicking on for the team.”

Gray led Leicester City to defeat Everton 2-0 on Sunday. He had a great role in both goals and won the Man of the Match award.
