CAIRO – 2 November 2017: Sergi Roberto and André Gomes, Barcelona midfielders, have been injured after having participated in the Olympiacos - FC Barcelona match in the UEFA Champions League.

Roberto had to leave the pitch before the half-time due to a muscular injury, while Gomes, who replaced Denis Suárez in the 75th minute of the game, finished the game without showing signs of pain.

The tests carried out in Barcelona have confirmed that Roberto will be out for five weeks, while Gomes will be out between three and four weeks.

Gomes, if the forecasts are met, could be ready for the Copa del Rey match against Múrcia, while Roberto could be in a position to reappear against Sporting de Portugal at the Camp Nou.
