CAIRO – 31 October 2017: Egypt's ambassador to Morocco, Ashraf Ibrahim, has identified the number of Al-Ahly's fans during the match against Wydad on Saturday in the second leg of the African Champions League final.

The Egyptian ambassador stated through Al-Ahly’s channel that it was agreed for 1,000 fans of Al-Ahly to attend the match at Mohamed V Stadium.

He pointed out that the Wydad Casablanca Club has allocated a full stadium for the fans of Al-Ahly.

Al-Ahly hosted Wydad in the final’s first leg match at Borg El Arab Stadium. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving Al-Ahly in a deadlock, as the red team has to win the away game to win the title.

Al-Ahly holds the championship record for most title wins, with eight under their belt. The team is scheduled to leave Cairo on November 1 for Morocco, taking with them their fan’s hopes and expectations of a ninth title victory.
