CAIRO - 31 October 2017: Four Egyptian squash players qualified to stage 16 of the Qatar Classic hosted by Doha from October 29 to November 3.

Karim Abdel Gawad, Marwan Al Shorbagy, Tarek Mo’men and Omar Mosaad representing Egypt qualified. Qatar Classic is part of the PSA World Tour, with aggregate financial prizes estimated at $165,000.

World number 2 Abdel Gawad qualified after beating Spain’s Borja Golan with three sets to no reply. Mo’men beat his fellow citizen Mohamed Abu El Ghar 3-1.
Shorbagy, ranked sixth, qualified after defeating New Zealand’s Paul Coll. Mosaad managed to win his game against Miguel Rodriguez 3-2 in the 32nd round, according to Super Kora.
