CAIRO –30 October 2017: Saudi Al-Raed club sent a formal offer to Al-Masry to sign Burkinabé player Aristide Bancé, the striker escaped without notifying the coaching staff.

The board of directors of Al-Masry, headed by Samir Halabia, ordered Bancé to return to Egypt before negotiating his departure to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Masry notified the Egyptian Football Association about Bancé escaping on Monday and told the EFA to notify FIFA to protect Al-Masry’s rights.

A source inside the team confirmed that the player had left angrily because of the delay in paying his contract for three months.

After sitting on the bench during the previous match against Ismaily SC, the situation was very tense with the coaching staff. In this match, Ismaily defeated Al-Masry 2-1 to stay on top of the table with 16 points, while Al-Masry stayed in second place with 13 points.
