Al-Ahly opens training gates for fans

CAIRO – 30 October 2017 : Al-Ahly’s board invited Al-Ahly fans to attend the team training session on Tuesday at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium to support the players.

Al-Ahly fans have a history of attending the training sessions in the team’s difficult situations.

“We are waiting for you, our great fans,” Al-Ahly’s Twitter account stated on Monday, accompanied by a photo of the fans and the players during a previous training.

Al-Ahly’s executive manager, Shereen Shams, told press on Monday, “Officials don’t have any problem with the fans’ attendance, and we are organizing with them to receive the fans well.”

Al-Ahly football team travels to Morocco on Wednesday night to meet Wydad Casablanca in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final.

Al-Ahly players have to defeat Wydad or end the game with a draw higher than 1-1 to win the title, as the first leg at Borg El Arab Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.
