CAIRO – 29 October 2017: Al-Ahly will travel to Morocco on Wednesday night to meet the Moroccan giants, Wydad Casablanca, at the 2017 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League Finals’ second leg on Saturday, November 4, in Stade Mohammed V.

Ahly’s doctor, Khaled Mahmoud, assured Ahly fans that their defender, Ramy Rabia, is in fine form. Mahmoud told Ahly’s official website that “Rabia is ready to play the second leg in Morocco.”

Ahly’s manager, Hossam Al-Badry, promised fans the title in Morocco. After the first leg he told the press “I trust in the players’ ability to win the title in Morocco and qualify to the FIFA Club World Cup.”

CAF appointed the Gambian referee Bakary Gassama to the second leg game.

The first leg at Borg Al-Arab ended in a 1-1 draw. Moamen Zakaria opened the score for Ahly after two minutes and Achraf Bencharki scored the equalizer for Wydad.
