CAIRO – 25 October 2017: Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Mauricio Pochettino, revealed on Wednesday that the FA Cup trophy and the EFL Cup trophy will not greatly impact his club like winning the Premier League or the Champions League.

“Our objective is to win the Premier League, our objective is to try to win the Champions League; for me these are the two real trophies,” Pochettino told press on Wednesday.

Pochettino added; “Of course, to win the Carabou Cup, yes, of course, but I think this will not change the life of Tottenham. To win the FA Cup, fantastic, I would love to win the oldest competition in the world. But it really changes your life if you win the Premier League or Champions League.”

Tottenham have achieved great results this season as the team shares the second place in the Premier League with Manchester United with 20 points each; Tottenham and Manchester United are five points behind the leaders, Manchester City.

Tottenham shares the top of their group in the Champions League with Real Madrid, with seven points each.

Tottenham will face West Ham United on Wednesday in the EFL Cup’s fourth round at Wembley Stadium.
