CAIRO – 22 October 2017: The International Football Association (FIFA) praised Al-Ahly as it continued its unbeaten record in the Egyptian League after winning the match against Al Ragaa on Monday.

According to the FIFA website, in a report issued by the most important records last week, Ahly played 40 games without losing in the Egyptian Premier League.

The report described the "Red giants" are still far from their own unbeaten record in the Egyptian league, which is one of the largest unbeaten streaks in the world.

Ahly was also unbeaten in 71 games between 2004 and 2007.

Al Ahly is set to face Etoile du Sahle in the CAF Champions League semifinal’s second leg on Sunday at Borg Al Arab Stadium.
