CAIRO – 22 October 2017: Mahmoud “Kahraba” participated and Abdel-Shafy was excluded from Al-Ahli’s squad when the team defeated Al Ittihad 3-0 in the seventh round of the Saudi League.

Kahraba started the game in his traditional left wing position, while Mohamed Abdel-Shafy missed the Jeddah Derby.

Both teams failed to score until the referee blew the halftime whistle.

Five minutes after the second half started, Omar Al Somah gave his side the lead, as he shot a volley into the top of the net.

Just five minutes later, Leonardo doubled Al-Ahli’s lead as he placed the ball into the top left corner.

In the dying moments of the game, Omar Al Somah doubled his tally as he accurately placed the ball past Al Ittihad’s goalkeeper, making it 3-0 for Al-Ahli.

Following the win, Al-Ahli tops the league table with 16 points, while Al Ittihad sits in seventh position with eight points.
