CAIRO – 21 October 2017: Manchester United lost for the first time this season in the Premier League 1-2 to Huddersfield in Kirklees Stadium.

Huddersfield’s last victory came two months ago when they won 1-0 against Newcastle United. It seems that Huddersfield’s team has reunited again with this victory against the Red Devils.

Aaron Mooy took the lead in the 28th minute when he stole the ball from Juan Mata, Manchester`s midfielder. He took advantage of the rejection of Manchester`s goalkeeper David De Gea.

This goal broke the 45-minute struggle of his team to score a goal. Also, it ended the run of the Red Devils; however, they did not concede any goal for three games.

The goal of the Australian international did not cause any reaction at United. Shortly after, the long shot of Jonas Lossl, Huddersfield’s goalkeeper, portrayed Lindelof, Manchester`s defender, badly. He failed to reject the ball, putting Laurent Depoitre in the face of De Gea, beating him without problems to score the second goal in the 33rd minute to make it 2-0.

Mourinho, Manchester`s coach, waved to Mkhitaryan and Rashford to take their chance in the game. Marcus Rashford shortened the distance, finishing a perfectly great cross from Romelu Lukaku to make it 2-1 in the 77th minute.

This loss knocked down Manchester United, who closed Saturday in the worst way. They are now down to five points behind rivals Manchester City, who used this loss in a perfect way by beating Burnley in the same round 3-0 at Ettihad Stadium.
