CAIRO – 20 October 2017: Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Unai Emery revealed on Sunday what his player Neymar Jr. needs to improve to become PSG’s Messi.

“He needs to be given time to adapt to his teammates and to our style of play. He needs to handle his opponents' aggression towards him. However, he has individual quality and talent,” Emery told press on Friday.

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in summer 2017, and since then, he formed a great partnership with Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani that led PSG to top the French League table with 25 points from nine games.

Emery added, “We are working with him with videos to look at what he can improve, how he can position himself better, work the transitions a bit better and stuff like that. He likes footwork. It is a process and it is certain that he will improve.”

Neymar prepares with his team for his first “Classico”, when PSG travels to meet Marseille in their stadium, Vélodrome.
