CAIRO – 17 October 2017: Hossam Ashour will miss the next game against Étoile Sportive du Sahel in the second leg of semi-final of the African Champions League scheduled on October 22 at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

Etoile Sportive du Sahel ended the first leg with a valuable 2-1 victory over Al-Ahly.

Al-Ahly midfielder and captain Hossam Ashour will not be able to play the next game because of a muscular injury he suffered from during the previous match against El Raja in the Egyptian League.

The medical staff confirmed that Ashour’s injury is in the connective muscle; consequently, it will officially prevent him from supporting the Al-Ahly midfield during the important match to be held on Sunday evening.

Also, Walid Soliman and Abdullah El Said have recovered from their injuries, and they will be drafted for the African clash.

Al-Ahly defeated El Raja 4-1 on Monday in the Egyptian League after a great performance by Al-Ahly players.
