CAIRO – 16 October 2017: Inter Milan beat AC Milan 3-2 in derby in the eighth round of Serie A.

Inter Milan Captain Mauro Icardi was the star of the game with a hat-trick to lead his side to victory.

Icardi is the first player to score a hat-trick in the derby since Diego Milito in 2012, who also scored a hat-trick against AC Milan.

Inter Milan currently have 22 points are in second place, two points behind Napoli, while AC Milan have 12 points and currently stand in tenth place.

The match saw dramatic events. Inter always scored first, before AC Milan managed to equalize, and Icardi snatched the win with a penalty in the 90th minute.

The player scored in the 28th minute first, bringing the first half to a 1-0 score.

In the 57th minute, Suso scored the equalizer; but after six minutes, Icardi made it 2-1.
Bonaventura equalized the result in the 80th minute, the last goal before Icardi’s penalty kick.
