CAIRO – 13 October 2017 : Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde spoke on Friday about Barcelona Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez before Barcelona clash against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night in Madrid.

“He comes to this game after scoring two goals, and we have given him some rest. We have him available and we don't think he's going to have to stop playing,” Valverde told press on Friday.

Suarez scored two goals in Uruguay 4-2 victory over Bolivia at 2018 World Cup qualifiers to lead his nation to the World Cup in Russia.

Valverde added, “It is true that he had a problem during pre-season, in the Supercopa de Espana, and he has been coping well, but now he is in perfect condition.”

Barcelona will travel to Madrid to meet Atletico Madrid at the Spanish League, visiting Atletico Madrid’s new stadium, Wanda Metropolitano, for the first time.

Valverde spoke about the game saying, “we are going to a stadium with a spectacular atmosphere, where we have not yet played and let's face it, there will be two teams who both want to win LaLiga.”
