CAIRO – 7 October 2017:Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City midfielder, has pointed out that he does not keep the best memories of his time linked to Chelsea.

Fed up with successive assignments, the Belgian decided to do it aside and demanded to leave Stamford Bridge for a definitive title.

Hired by Genk in January 2012, the midfielder stayed in the Belgian club until the end of the season. The next team was Werder Bremen, where he was until 2013.

Then he returned to London. Nevertheless, he did not feature in most of Jose Mourinho`s era and finished his period in Chelsea by moving to Wolfsburg, Germany, until Manchester City came for him in 2015. The signing was closed for €75 million ($88M).

The current Manchester City player has justified his departure from Chelsea, saying, "Chelsea did not trust me, and after that, I preferred to be sold, but I would go through the same thing again – playing well during the transfer, returning to Chelsea and feeling like a young player who has to show what he's worth – so I decided to leave. Chelsea wanted me to stay, but I felt I would not have many chances."
