Kahraba leads Al-Ittihad to beat Al-Taawoun

CAIRO – 29 September 2017: Egyptian star Mahmoud Abdel Moneim led Al-Ittihad to a precios victory against Al-Taawoun, led by Al-Hadri and Mustafa Fathi, with a 2-1 victory in the match which took place on Thursday evening in the fifth round of the Saudi league.

Kuwaiti striker Fahad Al-Ansari opened the scoring in the 19th minute for Al-Ittihad with a free kick he superbly shot, finishing the first half 1-0.

The second half started with Abdul Majeed Al-Sawat scoring the equalizer in the 47th minute, but Kahraba managed to score Al-Ittiha’s second goal in the 53rd minute by a powerful shot that baffled Al-Hadri. This is the third goal for the Egyptian player this season.

Kahabara was injured in the 87th minute, to which he was replaced by Mohamed Qasim.
With that result, Al-Ittihad is in fourth place with seven points, while Al-Taawoun has five and is in 10th place.
