CAIRO – 21 September 2017: Manchester City beat West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Cup 2-1 in the round of 32 at The Hawthorns.

Ahmed Hegazi did not take part in the match as he remained on the bench of coach Tony Pulis.

Leroy Sané opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, and David Jakop adjusted the score in the 71st minute.But only six minutes was enough to score a second goal for Sani and his team and confirm his team's qualification to the round of 16.

At the same time, Manchester United qualified for the round of 16 after beating Burton 4-1 at Old Trafford. Marcos Rashford opened the scoring for Jose Mourinho in the 5th minute and added his 2nd in the 17th minute.

In the 36th minute, Jesse Lingard scored the 3rd goal for the Red Devils. Anthony Martial scored the fourth goal in the 60th minute, bringing the score to 4-0. Lloyd Dyer scored in the 90th minute for Breton Albion's only goal.
