CAIRO – 21 September 2017: UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin announced on Wednesday that the 2019 European Super Cup will be held at Vodafone Park Stadium in Istanbul, home of Turkish club Beşiktaş.

At a general assembly meeting in Switzerland, Čeferin said the decision was made to give Turkey the honor of hosting the 2019 European Super Cup for the first time in its history.

Čeferin added that Wanda Metropolitano, the stronghold of Atletico Madrid, will host the 2018 Champions League final and that the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan, will host the European League final for the same year.

The Champions League final will take place in the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv on May 26, 2018, while the final of the European League 2018 will be held at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.
