CAIRO – 20 September 2017:Marcus Rashford, Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé are among the 25 contenders to win the 2017 Golden Boy Award, run by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and awarded to Europe’s most impressive footballer under the age of 21.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport created the award in 2003, and sports journalists from other major European nations now vote for the winner.

The Parisian Mbappe, 18 years old, will be a strong favorite to win the award after he played a huge role in Monaco's Ligue 1 triumph last season, as well as their road to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

The winner of the 2017 award will be announced in October.

Here are the contenders for the award:

Whoever takes the title will add their name to a roll of honor that already includes the likes of Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
