CAIRO – 17 September 2017: The Red Sea governorate is preparing to host the “Great Reunion”, which is a motorcycle race in Hurghada taking place September 23-24.

The race, organized by “Gharda’a Al Khair” (Hurghada Charity) Foundation, will include the teams of Hurghada Cruise, Family Packer and Sinbad Village. The race will be sponsored by the Red Sea governrate. More than 100 motorcyclists from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Egypt are taking part in the race to send a message to the world that Hurghada is a safe place to visit.

The Great Reunion starting point will be in front of the monument next to the Red Sea governorate building. The race will take place after reading Surat al-Fatihah (the opening chapter of the Quran) for the souls of the martyrs, and then the riders will pass through Corniche Road to the tourist walkway, visiting some schools with special needs and some of the elderly houses, as well as some charities in Hurghada.
