CAIRO –17 September 2017: Liverpool continued its disappointing series after falling to a 1-1 draw against Burnley in the 5th round of the Premier League.

Burnley took the lead by Arfield’s goal in the 27th minute, and Liverpool player Mohammed Salah scored the equalizer for Liverpool in the 30th minute. Liverpool has 8 points, equal to Burnley, and Liverpool lost 5-0 to Manchester City in the last round, to continue their “point bleeding” series, which threatens their hopes of winning the English Premier League title for the first time since 1990.

Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian national team player, has become Liverpool's top scorer in all English and European competitions this season. He has scored five goals for Liverpool this season, an achievement no other Liverpool player has achieved so far.

West Bromwich Albion drew against West Ham United 0-0. Hegazi helped his team to get a clean sheet. By this result, West Brom has 8 points and is in 8th place. West Ham United has four points and is in 18th place.

International star Ramadan Sobhi participated in the loss of Stoke City from Newcastle 2-1 in the match at St. James Park. With that result, Stoke has 5 points and is in 13rd place, while Newcastle has 9 points and is in 4th.
