CAIRO – 15 September 2017: Mohamed Salah was voted as the UEFA Champions League player of the week for his performance at Anfield against Sevilla.
The Egyptian player was in good form during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Sevilla at Anfield on Tuesday, scoring the Red’s second goal of the night and was the playmaker of several attempts on Sevilla’s goal, despite a relatively disappointing result for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Salah scored Liverpool’s second goal in the game in the 37th minute after Sevilla’s defense deflected his strike.

It is not the first time this season that Salah unexpectedly topped a fans' poll after he got Liverpool's goal of the month for August after his magnificent effort against Arsenal.
The 25-year-old also won the Liverpool`s Player of the Month for August. He has played a key part in a strong start in all the competitions by scoring three goals and providing two assists.
