CAIRO - 14 September 2017: Real Madrid Brazilian midfielder, Carlos Henrique “Casemiro,” admitted on Wednesday that his Welsh teammate in Real Madrid, Gareth Bale, isn’t having his best days with football. However the Brazilian believes in Bale’s ability to get his form back.

“You can see that he isn't experiencing his best run of form, but what I'll take away from this is the hard work he put in,” Casemiro told the press after beating Apoel Nicosia 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Bale, 28, has been criticized by Real Madrid fans because of his poor performance with the team in recent games.

“I was impressed by the performance of Bale, as you could see he was keen, he tried to finish with his head, he was battling and he was creating play, which is the Bale we need,” Casemiro said.

Casemiro shared Real Madrid’s dressing room with Bale since 2013, together they won three Champions League titles and one Spanish League title.
