CAIRO - 13 September 2017: Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is ready to support Arsenal’s squad after recovering from his injury, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told the press on Wednesday.

“He's getting stronger and stronger every day, and that's what we want from him,” Wenger told the press on Wednesday.

Jack Wilshere, 25, missed Arsenal’s first four Premier League games. The player is expected to participate in Arsenal’s Europa League debut on Thursday against the German side, FC Koln.

“Every game is an opportunity for him and this season's a good opportunity for him as well," Wenger added.

Wilshere is an Arsenal academy product and earned his debut with the club in 2008 when he was just 16.

Asked about the likelihood of Wilshere being in the starting lineup against Kohn, Wenger refused to disclose that information saying “I don't give the team out today - I will give it out tomorrow."

Arsenal will play for the first time in the Europa League on Thursday as the team failed to qualify to the Champions League for the first time since 1997.
