CAIRO – 12 September 2017: Champions League returns with this year’s edition on Tuesday with the first round of group stages with a number of strong matches starting by Juventus-Barcelona match.

The strongest and most exciting football tournament all over the planet is coming back for a new season on Tuesday with eight matches that will be held at seven countries at 8:45 p.m. Cairo local time.

The champion of Portugal Benfica will host the Russian champion CSKA Moscow among the matches of Group A, while in the same group the Swiss champion FC Basel, for which our Egyptian player Omar Gaber plays, will meet the champion of UEFA Europa League Manchester United at the Old Trafford the United’s home.

While in Group B the 27-times German champion Bayern Munich will host at its glorious stadium Allianz Arena the Belgium Anderlecht and the Scotch Celtic will host the French Paris Saint-Germain at Celtic Park stadium.

Another Champions League match will be held in England but this one will be in London at Stamford Bridge stadium the home of the blue team of London Chelsea which hosts Qarabag FK of Azerbaijan among Group C matches, which has another strong match between two high quality teams in Europe; AS Roma and Ateletico Madrid, and Roma will host the game at its Olympico stadium.

Group D has two competitive matches as the two teams of each match has the same level of football, the first match will be between Olympiacos the Greek and Sporting CP of Portugal while the second match is the anticipated match of the first round of CL between Barcelona and Juventus at Camp Nou Barcelona’s home and is expected to be a rich football match, because Barcelona must vindicate itself after Juventus disqualified Barca from CL at the quarter finals by winning in the first leg match 3-0 and managed to draw with no goals in the second leg match.
