Egypt seeks for their fourth victory, IHF.com

CAIRO – 8 September 2017: Egypt faces RD Congo on Friday at the 2017 Women’s Junior CAN in Ivory Coast, hoping to achieve their fourth victory in the competition.

Egypt defeated Cape Verde on Thursday 33-22, having dominated the game from the first moment and ending the first half 21-8.

Egypt started their participation beating the host nation, Ivory Coast, 35-33 after a tough game in front of Ivorian fans. The Egyptian team also defeated their Arab opponent, Algeria, on Wednesday 28-20.
Egypt is participating in the competition alongside six African countries: Algeria, Congo, Angola, Mali, Cape Verde and the host nation, Ivory Coast.

Egypt's coach, Ramy Abdel Latif, chose the followwing squad for the competition: Shimaa Waziri, Yasmin Wahid, Malak Shahin, Yasmin Abdel Rahim, Leila Wael. Leila Sherif, Lina al-Amrawy, Reem Rabia, Mariam al-Shorbagy, Nourin Aly, Donia Khaled, Tasnim Gamal, Yara Abdel Maksod, Nervana Mohamed, Mennatallah Wael and Fatima Khaled.

Ivory Coast is hosting the competition from September 4 -10.
