CAIRO – 29 August 2017: Hossam al-Badry, Al Ahly SC manager, spoke on August 29 about Al Ahly’s summer targets during this transfer window.

Speaking to Yallakora, Badry talked about the positions Al Ahly SC are focusing on signing during the current transfer window. Al Ahly’s manager also addressed the final destination regarding Al Ahly’s striker John Antwi.

Badry said, “We are in negotiations to sign a strong defender. Additionally, we are looking for an African striker who has the ability to play as a center forward as well as playing on the wings.”

Speaking on Smouha’s defender Mahmoud Ezzat, Badry said, “Mahmoud Ezzat is not in our plans due to the huge price tag Smouha officials set for the player. We decided to look for another defender at the moment.”

Badry concluded, “John Antwi also is not in our plans and we are looking for a new striker to replace him.”

Hossam al-Badry managed to win the Egyptian League and Cup with Al-Ahly this season without conceding any local defeat.
