CAIRO – 29 August 2017: Borussia Dortmund’s officials have been in talks with the French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to sign PSG’s attacking player Julian Draxler.

According to Le Parisien and DW websites, Borussia Dortmund officials were spotted in France earlier this week to negotiate with PSG officials for a possible transfer of PSG’s player Draxler.

PSG think that, “Draxler could now be considered surplus to requirements – especially as the club needs to shed some big earners in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations,” citing from ESPN.

Borussia Dortmund have been interested in signing an attacking player ever since their Ousmane Dembele left the club to join Barcelona in a transfer fee reported to be €147 million ($176 million).

It is good to mention that this will not be the first time where Draxler plays at the German League if he joins Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old player featured in a total of 153 games in the German League from 2011 to 2017 scoring 23 goals and conducting 26 assists during his time at VFL Wolfsburg and FC Schalke 04.
