20August 2017:Tottenham Hotspurs are still in the market till the last day, as the board wants to support the squad with more signings to be able to challenge for the title.

“I want four new players if it's possible, but it's not easy; you need time,” Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino told reporters on Friday.

Tottenham announced on Friday signing a six-year deal with Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez from Ajax Amsterdam.

Pochettino added, “We expect to sign some players before the end of the transfer window and try to improve our squad and bring new faces and energy in the team, because it will be a long season.”

Tottenham fans will experience a new stand for their home games, as the team will play their home games at Wembley this season instead of the old stadium, White Hart Lane.

Pochettino spoke about this new situation, saying, “One of our challenges is to make Wembley our home. We need to show we are ready; Wembley is not a problem. We are the problem if we are not able to win like last season. We were poor when we played there last season."

Tottenham played their Champions League home games last season at Wembley, where they won only one of three games.

Tottenham faces Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday in the Premier League second round. Their first game ended with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle.
