Al-Ahly meets Al-Masry tonight for the Egyptian Cup

CAIRO – 15 August 2017: Al-Ahly faces Al-Masry at the final of the Egyptian Cup on Tuesday evening at Borg al-Arab stadium.
The Egyptian Cup winner will be determined tonight as the final will be played at 8 p.m. at Borg al-Arab stadium between Al-Masry and the Egyptian premier league champion Al-Ahly, Al-Masry’s coach Hossam Hassan prepared his players to only get the title to Port Said, the city where the club is located, and bring the club back to be among the best teams in Egypt.

While Hossam Al-Badry, Al-Ahly head coach, tries to add another title to this season's victories after the Egyptian league, Al-Ahly still has the opportunity to win another three titles which are the CAF African Champions League, Egyptian Super Cup and the African Super up, in case al-Ahly managed to win the Champions League.

The two teams have met each other at the final of the Egyptian Cup six times and all of them ended with Al-Ahly victory, the last one of them was in 1989, when Al-Ahly won with a score (3-0) scored by Taher Abu Zeid, Ayman Shawqy and the current head coach of Al-Masry Hossam Hassan.
