CAIRO - 7 August 2017: Mohamed Elneny participated in achieving Arsenal’s first title in the pre-season beating Chelsea at the Football Association (FA) Community Shield on Sunday through penalties.

Neny spoke about his feelings after the game to Arsenal’s website saying, “Winning the game will give us such a great push forward before the start of the new season. It will help us to start it in the best possible way, especially as we are waiting for a new hard season.”

The 24-year-old spoke about his own performance saying, “I am giving all that I have on the field for the team, thanks to God and to the support I have from the coach and my team-mates. I am 100 percent focused and I will do my best to the team day after day.”

Neny is the first Egyptian to win the FA Community Shield, he was also the first Egyptian to achieve FA Cup title when he won the title with Arsenal last season.

Joining Arsenal in 2016, Neny was linked with moving to other Premier League clubs, but he stayed with the club to win more titles
