CAIRO –6 August 2017: Paris Saint Germain achieved an easy 2-0 win against Amiens SC on Saturday in Parc des Princes in the first round of Ligue 1.

PSG ended the first half with a goal by Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Argentine Javier Pastore added the second goal in the 81st minute.

Before the beginning of the match, Brazilian star Neymar was presented to PSG fans with his appearance on the floor of Parc des Princes. Neymar joined PSG after paying the release clause in his contract with Barcelona FC, which is worth €222m ($261M), making him the world's most expensive player. With that result, PSG put their first three points in the new season, while Amien's team is out of balance.

PSG will face En Avant de Guingamp on Sunday August 13 in Stade de Roudourou in the second round of Ligue 1.
