CAIRO – 3 August 2017: La Liga (Spanish League) officials have rejected on August 3 the deposit submitted by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) officials regarding Barcelona’s winger Neymar da silva’s release clause due to violating the financial fair play.

According to ESPN, the lawyers of Neymar came to La Liga’s office on August 3 in order to pay €222 million ($263 million) as the release clause of Barcelona's winger Neymar in order to complete his move to the French club PSG.

Javier Tebas, Spanish FA president, told the Spanish website the AS that PSG are backed financially by Qatari government and that PSG is accused of financial doping.

Tebas told the AS, ’La Liga’ is positing that state-backed clubs (Qatar and PSG) that compete using 'financial doping' could destabilize professional football in Europe."

IBrazilian winger Neymar appeared on August 2 in Barcelona’s training ground in order to send his goodbyes to his teammates before completing his move to French giants PSG.
