Preview: Esperance Sportive vs. Fath Union Sport

CAIRO – 3 August 2017: Esperance Sportive is set to play against Fath Union Sport on Thursday night at Alexandria Stadium in the semi-finals of the Arab Club Championship that is held in Egypt.

Fath Union Sport will play in the semi-finals after coming first in Group B. On the other hand, Esperance Sportive enters the match as the leaders of Group C after beating the following teams in the group stages: Al-Hilal from Saudi, Al-Merrikh from Sudan, Naft al-Wassat from Iraq. Esperance Sportive and Fath Sport will play this deciding match looking only for a victory in order to qualify to the final of the tournament.

It is good to mention that the winner will play Al-Faisaly from Jordan in the final of the Arab Championships. Al-Faisaly qualified on Wednesday evening for the final of the Arab Championship after defeating the Egyptian champion Al-Ahly SC with a 2-1 score.
The Arab Club Championship is held in Egypt from July 22 to August 6.
