CAIRO – 3 August 2017: Khaled Abdel Aziz the Minister of Youth and Sports honored the champion Farida Osman on August 3 by giving her Ministry shield and Certificate of Appreciation.

The minister of sports confirmed that he supports Egyptian Swimming Federation and the swimmer Farida Osman the winner of the bronze medal for the world championship that held lately in Hungary.

During the press conference today, Thursday, the Minister said that he will afford all Farida’s requests to win the Olympic medal at Tokyo games.

Khaled Abdel Aziz confirmed that on 15 August there will be a local festival on Cairo, for the great champion Farida Osman due to her having a trip to the U.S. at the beginning of the month.

Moreover, Yasser Edreis President of Egypt Swimming Federation, what Farida achieved belongs to the player, the Minister of Youth & Sports and the Egyptian Swimming Federation fully supports Farida.

It is good to mention that the Egyptian Swimmer Farida Osman finished the women's 50m butterfly final race in Budapest on Saturday, recording 25.39 seconds to end in the third place and give Egypt the first ever medal in the World Championships.
