CAIRO –3 August 2017: The Organizing Committee of the Arab Club Championship announced on August 2 the month in which the tournament will be held next year.

The committee announced that the 2018 Arab Club Championship will be held in July of next year. The month was agreed upon after seeing that July is the perfect month because all teams have finish their league matches and begin to prepare for the next season.

Egypt is currently hosting the 2017 Arab Club Championship that is held between July 22 and August 6.

The 2017 tournament saw the following teams participate: Al-Ahly SC and Zamalek SC from Egypt, Al- Wihda from the UAE, NA Hussein Dey from Algeria, Al-Faisaly SC from Jordan, Al-Hilal SC and Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia, Fath Union Sport from Morroco, Al-Ahed from Lebanon, Esperance Sportive from Tunisia, Naft Al-Wassat from Iraq, and Al-Merrikh from Sudan.
