CAIRO – 2 August 2017: Real Madrid players will reach the Super Cup final on August 8 against Manchester United in good shape, despite pre-season losses, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane said to reporters on Tuesday.

“Physically, the team looks good to me. We’ve worked hard, like last year. I'm not happy with the results, but in the matches, there have been very good things and some not so good things, but that’s normal in every pre-season," Zidane said about the pre-season.

Zidane spoke about Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation, saying, “He is calm, taking advantage of the holidays. Now that he is over 31, he’s relaxed and he’ll be with us on the 5th. He wants to be with us and talk about football and prepare for the season.”

Zidane also talked about young players’ play time with the club, mentioning, “Everyone is going to have minutes, and from the beginning. The idea is that everyone will have minutes. Those who have played more, less, and vice versa.”

Zidane led Real Madrid to win two consecutive Champions League titles in 2016 and 2017, as well as the Spanish League title.
