CAIRO - 30 July 2017: Ahmed el-Matani, Egyptian Squash teams’ coach, could not hide his sadness despite winning Squash World Junior Championship in New Zeeland beating Malaysia in the final 2-0.

“We don’t ask for anything but appreciation and support, we ask the President to honor the kids’ achievement,” Matani spoke to “Evey day” TV show from New Zealand.

Matani added “What the players did is amazing, their commitment to training made them champions despite tough challenges.”

He spoke about the appreciation they had in New Zeeland, he said “They couldn’t believe that we did all these achievements despite the lack of basic requirements to raise champions.”

Matani added “Football team budget in one travel would be enough for financial support to many other sports.”

Egyptian team who participated in the competition are, Rowan el-Araby, Hania el-Hammamy, Amina Nasser and Amina Mekawy.
