El-Badry will return to coach Al-Ahly after missing the first two matches – Egypt Today
CAIRO - 28 July 2017: Al-Ahly faces Algerian side, NA Hussein Dey on Friday in their last group match in the Arab Club Championship held at El-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
Both teams eye victory to qualify for the semifinals and continue their run in the competition.
Hossam el-Badry, Al-Ahly manager, will coach the team on Friday after missing the first two games of the competition due to personal issues; assistant coach Ahmed Ayoub coached the team in the first two matches.
Each with three points, both Al-Ahly and NA Hussein Dey share second place in the group, while Al-Faislay from Jordan stays at the top of the group with six points.
Badry had a meeting with the players to discuss strategy against the attacking force of the Algerian side.
Egypt hosts 12 Arab clubs in Arab Club Championship from July 22 to August 5 in Cairo and Alexandria.
