CAIRO – 27 July 2017: The Egyptian U-23 Handball National Team managed by Wael Abdel Ati sealed a precious victory from the South Korean team in the U-23 Handball World Cup on July 26.

The U-23 handball team defeated the South Korean team in the last minutes of the game with 1 point difference, Egypt being at 35th place and South Korea at 34th place, this match was played for deciding the positions between 17-20.

It is important to note that this is Egypt’s second victory in the tournament after beating Qatar on July 24 with a score of 30/29.

The following players were selected to represent the Egyptian National Team in the Youth World Cup: Mohamed Essam, Mohamed Sobhy, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Hesham, Mohamed Abel Ghani, Abdelrahman Ali, Mohab Gamal, Nour El Din Adel, Omar Belal, Youssef Khaled, Shady Mahmoud, Abdel Hamid El Said, Yehia Khaled, Abdel Rahman Ahmed, Momen Ali, and Hady Soliman.
