CAIRO – 24 July 2017: Khaled Abdel Aziz, Minister of Youth and Sports, visited Alexandria Stadium to check the stadium availability to host Zamalek’s match against Moroccan side, Fath Union Sport for the Arab Club Championship.

Abdel Aziz will attend the game held on Sunday night with Egyptian Football Federation President, Hani Abo Rida and many other Arab Football Federation members.

Abdel Aziz also sent an invitation to Ahmad Ahmad, Confederation of African Football (CAF) President to visit the Alexandria Stadium opening before Zamalek game.
Zamalek failed to open their participation in the tournament with a victory, holding a 2-2 tie after Fath Union scored a late goal in Zamalek’s net.

Zamalek plays in Group B alongside Fath Union Sport from Morocco, Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr and Lebanon’s Al-Ahed.

Accompanied by club president Mohamed Akl, Abdel Aziz also opened the social building in the Shooting Club in Alexandria.

The Minister of Youth and Sports met club members and praised the club activities, services and the support they give to champions from different sports. He talked about the importance of promoting
