CAIRO – 23 July 2017: Las Palmas’s Kevin Prince Boateng performed a great gesture on July 22 regarding the collapse of young Ajax midfielder Abdelhak Nouri. Boateng will honor Nouri by wearing a shirt with Nouri’s name written on it under his Las Palmas jersey.

Boateng posted a message on his official Instagram account on July 22 saying, “I've decided to wear that shirt all season under my jersey!! to show my support and because I pray for you @abdelhak_nouri #nouri34 #prince7.”

Abdelhak Nouri played for Ajax as a midfielder. He collapsed during a friendly match between Ajax and Werder Bremen on Saturday, July 8 in Austria with 20 minutes remaining in the match.

Nouri, 20 years old, suffered cardiac arrhythmiaI and immediately received treatment on pitch before going to the hospital.

Nouri made 15 appearances with Ajax last season, including three features in the Europa League. The club lost the final against Manchester United.
