CAIRO -22 July 2017: Egyptian defender Ali Ghazal ended his contract on Friday with Chinese club Guizhou Zhicheng. He ended the contract after only six months with the club. Ghazal spoke with Egypt Today about his new destination.

“I ended my contract with Guizhou Zhicheng, but I won’t return to play in the Egyptian League,” Ghazal told Egypt Today.

Ali Ghazal, 25 years old, played four years in Portugal with Nacional da Madeira. Rumors say that he will be returning to Egypt to play for Al Ahly or Zamalek.

When asked if Portugal would be his new destination, he answered, “ I won’t return to Portugal again; I have three offers and I will decide my new destination soon.”

Ghazal ended his contract with Guizhou Zhicheng after the change in Chinese League rules. The new rules allowed only three foreign players of five to participate in the matches.

Ghazal participated with Guizhou Zhicheng in one match in the Chinese Cup and he didn’t play any game in the Chinese League
