CAIRO –20 July2017: Mortada Mansour, Zamalek SC’s president, appointed three new people in the coaching staff of Zamalek football team.

Zamalek appointed Tala‟ea el-Gaish and Misr el-Makasa’s former Manager Tarek Yehia as Zamalek’s assistant coach, along with appointing a new director of football and a second assistant coach.

Speaking to ON Sport on July 19, Mansour announced the changes in the coaching staff.

“Tarek Yehia is known as a manager and not as an assistant coach and due to him being one of Zamalek’s veteran players he accepted the offer and I have to thank him for his decision.

He will have a huge role in selecting the players and picking the formation alongside Zamalek’s coach Augusto Inacio,” Mansour told ON Sport.

“Hussein El Sayed, Zamalek’s former goalkeeper, will be the director in Zamalek’s new technical staff.

While, Zamalek’s retired defender Medhat Abdel Hady will be the second assistant coach.

All these changes were accepted by Zamalek’s coach Augusto Inacio,” Zamalek’s president concluded with ON Sport.

On a similar note, Mansour is looking to strengthen Zamalek’s football team after being knocked out of the CAF Champions League.
