CAIRO –20 July 2017:Arsenal’s Egyptian midfielder, Mohamed El Nenny, has rejected joining Leicester City in the current transfer market after Arsenal accepted the offer and let the decision in El Nenny’s hands.

British newspaper The Sun reported on Wednesday that Leicester City offered Arsenal £10 million ($13 million) to sign the Egyptian midfielder, but El Nenny refused after Arsenal had accepted the offer and gave El Nenny the green light to speak to the Leicester’s officials.

El Nenny started with Arsenal in eight matches out of the 14 Premier League matches he participated in. Despite that, El Nenny is happy with being on the Arsenal squad and is happy as well with settling in London, which made him refuse the offer, The Sun reported.

The Egyptian midfielder had joined the Gunners Arsenal in January, participating with the team on 40 occasions in all tournaments. He assisted in creating three goals and scored a single goal.
