CAIRO – 15 July2017: Egypt’s Magdy Abdel Ghany was re-elected to the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) Division Africa board in the congress held in Accra, Ghana on July 6th.

“I’ll do my best for FIFPro Division Africa. It’s a pleasure for me to be board member for another period,” Ghany told Egypt Today.

“Now I’m looking forward to Fifpro congress which will be held in Cairo (December 5-8), It will be a great step for African football” Ghany said.

FIFPro Division Africa consists of 9 member associations: Cameroon, DR Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. There are three observers: Botswana, Tunisia and Kenya.

The board of Division Africa is led by Secretary General Stéphane Burchkalter, the members are David Mayébi (Cameroon), Thulaganyo Gaoshubelwe (South Africa), Magdy Abdel Ghany (Egypt) and Cyrille Domoraud (Ivory Coast). Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast) is the honorary president of Division Africa.
