CAIRO – 14 July2017: West Bromwich Albion FC looking at a year- long loan deal to sign Ahmed Hegazy, Egyptian international defender of Al-Ahly Egyptian Champion.

Hegazy, 26, was named in the Egyptian national team squad for African Cup of Nations CAN 2017 in Gabon, and he was an ever-present in the Egyptian side.

Tony Pulis, Manager of West Brom is plotting a move for Hegazy during this summer transfer window according to ExpressAndStar.

“One of Premier League club’s expert coaches phoned me last week to ask about Ahmed Hegazy, and I think we will see him joining Premier League soon,” Mido, former international Egyptian striker of Tottenham Hotspur FC tweeted Thursday July 13.

Hegazy played for ACF Fiorentina and AC Perugia Calcio in Italy, and made 14 appearances with both Italian sides in all competitions, scored only one goal, according to TransferMarkt.
