CAIRO – 12 July 2017: The U-19 European Championships semi-finals are expected to take place on July 12, when two matches will be played.

The leaders of group A, Portugal, will face the runners up of Group B, the Netherlands, at 3 p.m. Egyptian time at David Petriashvili Stadium in the Georgia. Both teams will be looking to qualify to the final before going to extra time due to the final being held just three days later.

The last match of the day will be held at 6 p.m. Cairo local time when the leaders of group B, England, will play against the runners up of group A, the Czech Republic, at Mikheil Meshki Stadium.

England is one of the favorites of this tournament after defeating the Netherlands, Germany and Bulgaria. On the other hand, the Czech Republic will enter the match as the underdogs after gaining four out of nine points in the group stages.

The U-19 European Championships is held in Georgia from July 2 to July 15.
